Murshidabad violence planned by BJP: CM
Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a 'great liar', Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said that the violence at Rezinagar in Murshidabad on Wednesday was preplanned by the BJP.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that the language used by the Chief Minister reflects that he has lost his mental balance.
State Congress Chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore lambasting Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his ‘deplorable’ remarks against the Congress National President Sonia Gandhi, stated that it was disrespectful towards women.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that the language used by the Chief Minister reflects that he has lost his mental balance.
“Before speaking anything against Sonia Gandhi, Khattar should look back at the country’s history and not forget the sacrifices made by the Gandhi family for the country,” he said, adding that Sonia Gandhi had turned down the post of Prime Ministership and had even lost her mother-in-law and husband for the nation, such insult can never be tolerated or forgiven.

Sonia Gandhi holds an important position in the country and no one has the right to disrespect her, he added.
Lashing at Khattar, Rathore charged the BJP for adopting double standard towards women and also that respect for women from the BJP leaders cannot be expected.
