Jammu and Kashmir: Migrant labourer from Bihar shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag
The victim, whom the police identified as Raju Sah of Bihar, succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Restrictions were imposed in the Kashmir valley as mobs clashed with security forces on Monday following the killing of three terrorists, two of them local Kashmiris, in a pre-dawn encounter in the Hakoora area of Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
One of the slain terrorists had recently killed a policeman at Soura and snatched his rifle.
Groups of youth pelted stones at the security forces as reports of elimination of the three terrorists spread in Srinagar and other parts of the valley. Curfew-like restrictions have been imposed in eight police station areas of downtown Srinagar.

A police spokesperson said that two of the terrorists have been identified as Eesa Fazli of Srinagar and Syed Owaid of Kokernag and identity of the third
terrorist was not yet established.
On the basis of credible leads of the presence of terrorists, the security forces, including the army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police, started searching in the Hakoora area when the terrorists fired upon them leading to the encounter.
Arms and ammunition, including AK-47 rifles, pistols, hand grenades and other material was recovered from the encounter site in which no collateral damage was reported, said the spokesperson.
Reports said that a spontaneous shutdown was observed in several areas across the valley where shops and business establishments were shut down and vehicular traffic went off the roads. Stone pelting incidents were reported at Soura, Anchar, old Barzulla, Lal Chowk and various other areas.
Schools that had reopened two days ago after the winter vacations have been shut down as a precautionary measure. The Kashmir University has suspended classes and postponed its examinations.
Train services across the valley have been suspended and internet services deactivated.
