BJP central leadership has asked state party leaders to prepare list of panchayat poll candidates within March.  The central leadership wants the state BJP to field candidates in every seat for the panchayat election.

on Sunday, a meeting was organised to arrive at crucial decisions on panchayat polls. BJP’s national joint secretary Shiv Prakash attended the meeting. “on Sunday’s meeting was very crucial ahead of the panchayat election. One of the senior leaders and national secretary (organisation) Ramlal was to attend the meeting but he could not owing to death in the family,” a senior BJP leader said.

The party’s national joint secretary asked state leaders to frame strategies ahead of the panchayat election so as to combat the terror of the Trinamul Congress. The BJP’s national joint secretary also warned the state leadership against excuses for failing to expand its base owing to the terror of the ruling party in the state.

BJP central leader also expressed his concern on the party’s dismal performance in the recently concluded by polls in Noapara and Uluberia. He, however, asked the party leaders to felicitate the BJP leaders who performed well from their respective booths.

Shiv Prakash also asked state leaders to ensure that the state leadership in its panchayat poll campaigns promptly speak on the various development schemes initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre.
