Petrol Dealers Association starts 48 hrs strike in the state.
Rajasthan Petrol Dealers Association (RPDA) went on 48 hours strike from Sunday morning at 6 am, pressing for its demand to reduce VAT rate and increase dealers' commission in the state.
Following the recent spurt in oil prices, state-run Indian Oil Corp on Sunday hiked prices of petrol by Rs.1.29 a litre, and of diesel by 97 paise, both at Delhi and effective from midnight, with corresponding increases in other states.
