“For the first time in independent India, a ‘miracle man’ has come who is out to transform the country, reach out to one and all using technology for inclusive growth,” said Odisha Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal.

His praise for PM Narendra Modi, at a function here on Monday, attended and addressed by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, is bound to raise eyebrows.

The Governor went on to refer to Start Up India, Stand Up India, and Mudra Yojana.

Under Mudra Yojana, 12 crore people have benefitted and over Rs 7 lakh has been disbursed creating jobs, he said.

Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal went on to state how, in the past, traditional jobs were lost to industries – the weavers, blacksmith, the cobbler etc. lost out to big corporate houses.

Internet not inner net, head governed more than heart, material more than spiritual is not all, one has to blend technology and theology, he added.
