Aday after Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) won three of four Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) posts, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari commented that the grand victory of the party’s students’ wing was a result of positive approach of the youth towards nationalism. He called it a mandate against divisive and opportunistic politics.

While congratulating the winners, Manoj Tiwari termed it as the victory of the students with nationalistic thinking. He said, “this victory is the result of positive approach of the youth towards nationalism. The patriotic youth have given a fitting reply to the anti-national forces. Narendra Modi is going to win the next Loksabha elections also which is quite evident from the results of the DUSU elections.”

Tiwari claimed that members of ABVP were always ready to take forward the public-oriented policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other works related to public service.

He added that opposition parties like the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party were raising questions on the youthful thinking in DUSU elections by spreading rumors of glitches in EVMs, thereby insulting the mandate of the youth.

“It has become a habit of opposition parties to allege glitches in EVMs which shows their frustration. In these elections the policies of the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have been totally rejected by the youth. When the Congress was ruling at the Centre, it encouraged corruption and Aam Aadmi Party of Delhi is playing politics of accusing the Lt Governor instead of fulfilling its promises to the people,” the BJP leader remarked.

“The persons who raised anti-national slogans had the support of these parties and with this support they were spreading negative thinking in the country. Today the youth by making the ABVP victorious has confirmed that nationalism will always triumph over sedition,” Tiwari quipped.
