Ministers to head district welfare committees

The Himachal government has constituted district welfare committees for each district of the state for effective implementation of various welfare schemes. Members of the state cabinet have been nominated as chairpersons of these committees.

Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha speaker, Dr Rajeev Bindal has been appointed chairman of Sirmour district welfare committee, Deputy Speaker, Hans Raj of Chamba district while Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh Thakur of Mandi district.  Education minister Suresh Bhardwaj will head the welfare committee for Shimla district and Health minister  Vipin Singh Parmar of Bilaspur district.
