Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme “Mann Ki Baat” has always been a medium of learning important things.

Sachdeva noted that the growing importance of wind and solar energy the prime minister dwelt on during his Sunday’s programme is crucial for the country’s development.

The party’s state unit chief informed that BJP workers across Delhi listened to the PM’s radio broadcast at 4,562 locations across all 254 mandals, along with distinguished local citizens.

He said during the programme, PM Modi mentioned about the addition of 6 gigawatts of wind energy capacity during the past year while discussing the life message of Gautama Buddha. He explained how Buddha taught that peace begins within one’s self, and that conquering self is the greatest victory.

Meanwhile, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Jay Panda, along with MP Bansuri Swaraj and NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal, listened to the programme with around 400 women at Atal Adarsh School on Tilak Marg.

The Delhi BJP chief, along with former Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, MLA Dr. Anil Goyal, and Shahdara District President Deepak Gaba, listened to the programme.

Other MPs and party leaders also listened to the programme along with locals in their respective areas.

The BJP national vice-president noted that the presence of women, who gathered to listen to the program, in a large number reflects their empowerment. Such a historic programme has never been seen before. After 133 episodes, people are still eager to listen to it every month.

Panda added that PM Modi shares valuable insights in every episode that enhances knowledge and provides important lessons for people coming from all sections of the society.
