Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh to the next of kin of the 22 victims who died in three road mishaps on Monday.
Singh also announced a sum of Rs.50,000 and Rs.30,000 for those with serious and minor injuries respectively, a statement issued by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) said on Monday.

The police had said that 19 people were killed and 44 injured in three accidents at Chakhumai and Lairouching areas in Senapati district and Khongsang in Tamenglong district respectively.
Three persons had died on way to the hospital on Monday, the police said on Tuesday
