The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday wished the nation on the occasion of Ram Navami.

Mamata Banerjee in a tweet greeted everyone on Ram Navami.

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were among those who wished the people on the occasion of Ram Navami on Sunday.

As millions across India celebrated the birth of Lord Ram at the end of the nine-day Navratri festival, President Kovind urged the people to follow the path of righteousness.

“Geetings and good wishes to fellow citizens on Ram Navami. Lord Rama’s life is a message in itself. Let us follow his message of adhering to the values of righteousness, treading the path of truth and building fraternity in our society,” wrote President Kovind on his official Twitter handle.

Rama Navami is a spring Hindu festival that celebrates the birthday of god Rama. The festival celebrates the descent of god Vishnu as Rama avatar. The day is celebrated on the ninth and last day of Chaitra Navaratri.
