Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav is all set to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai, the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai.
According to media reports, the couple will get married on 12 May and the engagement ceremony will be held on 18 April in Patna. The details regarding the venue and other things regarding the wedding are yet to be declared.
Bride-to-be Aishwarya is the daughter of former minister Chandrika Rai.

The family will seek bail for Lalu Prasad, who is in Ranchi’s Birsa Munda jail after being convicted in the fodder scam, to attend the wedding. If the bail is denied, then parole for the leader will be sought.
In 2014, Lalu’s youngest daughter Raj Laxmi had tied the knot with the grand-nephew of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The eldest daughter of the RJD chief Misa Bharti was married to engineer Shailesh Kumar in 1999.
Former health minister of the state Tej Pratap, who formally joined politics in 2015 ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls, had successfully contested from Mahua, Vaishali.
The eldest of her three siblings, Aishwarya graduated from Patna’s Notre Dame School and received an MBA from Noida’s Amity.
