Haryana government has decided to set up eight new Women Police Stations (WPSs) at Sub Division level in the state.

These police stations will be established at Assandh, Dadri, Hansi, Gohana, Manesar, Dabwali, Ballabgarh and Naraingarh in the state.

An official spokesperson said that chief minister (CM) Manohar Lal Khattar has approved creation of these new police stations. He said a decision to this effect has been taken as victims belonging to these areas are facing great difficulty in giving complaints as they have to travel long distance to reach WPSs at district headquarters.
