JP Kerala president K Surendran on Wednesday alleged that Congress MP Anto Antony insulted the country by saying Pakistan had no role in the Pulwama terror attack.

In a statement here, Surendran alleged that the Congress leader has insulted the country’s armed forces and their sacrifices. He demanded that Anto Antony should be booked under sedition charges and the police should arrest him, as he had stated that Pakistan has no role in Pulwama terror attack.

Congress Pathanamthitta MP Anto Antony made serious allegations regarding the 2019 Pulwama attack. He alleged that the BJP won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by sacrificing the lives of 42 soldiers. Many people suspected that so many explosives would not reach Pulwama without the government’s knowledge. Satyapal Malik, then Governor of Jammu and Kashmir revealed that the explosion was artificially created, he said.

Anto Antony also asked what Pakistan’s role in the Pulwama blast was.

BJP leader Anil Antony, who is the party’s candidate from the Pathanamthitta constituency, also came out against the Congress MP saying that he (Anto Antony) whitewashed Pakistan in the Pulwama terrorist attack. He added that the BJP would take legal action against Anto under the National Security Act.
