A team of Indian Air Force reached the accident site to investigate the cause of the crash. Local police also reached the spot shortly after the crash.

A microlight aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Ranchad village of Binauli area of district Bagpat on Friday during routine practice. Both the pilots ejected safely.

A team of Indian Air Force reached the accident site to investigate the cause of the crash. Local police also reached the spot shortly after the crash.

Additional force has been deployed at the spot in order to control the villagers who have gathered there to see the crashed aircraft.

According to PRO to SP (Baghpat) Anurag Sharma, the IAF plane crash was reported around 9 am on Friday morning in Ranchad village. The pilots who were flying the plane are completely safe, he told the reporters.

The villagers were working in the fields when they saw an IAF plane flying low. It was taking circular rounds in the sky before it crashed in the sugar cane field. The terrified villagers immediately ran for help while the pilots had successfully ejected from the plane just before it crashed.
