Health schemes to cover 16 lakh families: Parmar

Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said that the state government had launched various health schemes to benefit people of the state. Besides, various Centrally sponsored health projects were also being implemented in the state to help provide better medical facilities to the people.

In an informal interaction with media here, the minister said that various health schemes being implemented would reach up to 16 lakh families in the state.
Parmar said that the work on establishing tertiary care unit at cost of Rs 40 crore had started at Nair Chowk medical college and it would benefit cancer patients.

The Chief Minister recently launched ‘Anubhav Yojna’ from Kullu under which the patients will get facility of online registration, besides information about doctors. The scheme has been launched on pilot basis in first phase in Kullu and would be taken to the entire state in a phased manner.
