Haryana invites specialist doctors to partner with government hospitals

Haryana Health Department, under the National Health Mission, on Wednesday has invited specialist doctors or medical officers to partner with government hospitals on call or contract basis for filling up these posts in First Referral Units (FRUs) or Urban Primary Health Centres in various districts to further improve the quality of maternal and newborn care services.

While stating this, a spokesman of Health Department said that walk-in-interviews would be conducted on 25th of every month for the next six months in the offices of Civil Surgeon in the district concerned.

He said that under zone-I, services of Gynaecologist, Anaesthetist and Paediatrician are required at FRU in Civil Hospital Mewat, Gynaecologist and Anaesthetist is required in Civil Hospital, Palwal and Narnaul and SDH, Mahendragarh. Under call basis, he said that Rs 4,000 per case would be given to Gynaecologist, Rs 3,500 per case to Anaesthetist and Rs 3,000 per case to Paediatrician.

Similarly under zone-II, services of Gynaecologist, Anaesthetist and Paediatrician are required at SDH, Naraingarh, Charkhdadri and Narwana whereas, Gynaecologist and Paediatrician are required for Community Health Centre (CHC), Safidon. He said that interested Specialist Doctors or Medical Officers could also provide their services for Gynaecologist, Anaesthetist and Paediatrician at CHC Samalkha, Bawal and Meham. He said that Rs 3,500 per case would be given to Gynaecologist, Rs 3,000 per case to Anaesthetist and Rs 2,500 per case to Paediatrician.

Those who would provide services on contract basis would be paid monthly remuneration of Rs one lakh for Gynaecologist, Rs 80,000 for Anaesthetist and Paediatrician for Mewat Palwal and Narnaul. He said that Rs 1.5 lakh could be given for Gynaecologist and Rs one lakh for Anaesthetist and Paediatrician.

He said that 26 medical officers would be appointed on contract basis in urban primary health centers under the National Urban Health Mission. Of these, two each in Ambala, Fatehabad and Karnal, six in Faridabad, five each in Gururgram and Jhajjar and one each medical officer will be appointed in district Jind, Palwal, Sirsa and Panipat. These medical officers will be paid Rs 50,000. In addition, one post of Administrative Officer-cum- Accounts Officer at State Health Resource Centre and two post of Counsellor, General Health Support Centre for Civil hospital Jind and Faridabad would be filled on contract basis on monthly remuneration of Rs 32,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively.
