In a horrific rerun of the Ryan School murder case in Gurgaon near Delhi, a Class 9 student from a school in Gujarat’s Vadodara was found murdered in the washroom on Friday.

According to the media reports, the body of the 14-year-old boy was found in the school’s washroom around mid-day bearing knife wounds in the stomach. A knife soaked in blood was found near the body of the deceased student.

It is believed that the boy had a fight with a Class 10 student before he was found dead.

The Gujarat police has launched an investigation in the case. The body has been sent for postmortem examination.

In September last year, a 7-year-old Pradyumn was found with his throat slit inside the washroom of Ryan International School in Gurgaon.

The case was soon handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation, which arrested a 16-year-old student of the same school for the crime.

The teen is awaiting trial after Juvenile Justice Board decided that he would be treated as an adult.
