Kyle Ticlo, son of Goa BJP MLA Glen Ticlo, reportedly mowed down a 20-year-old girl on Goa-Belgaum National Highway 4 around 5 pm on Monday.
According to reports, the girl was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Her sister also suffered injuries in the accident.
Kyle tried to help the girl by getting down, but he was beaten by the crowd present there. He has been booked for rash and negligent driving.

The BMW car involved in the accident belonged to MLA Glen. The angry mob torched the car soon after the accident.
Glen Ticlo filed a complaint against unknown persons for vandalising his car after which one person was arrested by the police.
“We are right now completing police formalities in Belgaum. Kyle (his son) is fine,” Ticlo told IANS.
A video clip surfaced showing the car, which is registered in the name of the Goa MLA, being set on fire by a mob.
The clip also shows policemen chasing crowds of stone-throwers.
