Rs 2 cr for govt job: Mann names cricketer who accused Channi’s nephew
Reiterating his allegation against the former chief minister, the incumbent Punjab chief minister said the cricketer will now be given the job as per the rules.
The Punjab government will provide free Wi-Fi facility in all government ITIs, polytechnics and engineering colleges in the state.
Disclosing this on Thursday, Punjab Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said that an MoU for providing free Wi-Fi facility on campuses of all government ITIs, polytechnics and engineering colleges has been signed with the Reliance Jio.
Channi said Reliance Jio will set up the infrastructure and provide its services free of cost and also bear the cost of equipment and electricity. The company will also block all objectionable websites as per the government of India directions.

"All the principals of respective colleges have been directed to provide suitable space and other facilities,” said the minister.
