Delhi’s water and public works department minister Parvesh Verma on Monday said the state government is working to provide better services to the people of the national capital as it is the top priority for the regime to ensure a smooth life for citizens.
He conducted an inspection of different areas under the R K Puram assembly, that included review of the village areas falling in the constituency.
Officials from different departments including PWD, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Delhi Development Authority and the District Administration also accompanied the minister.
He assessed the on the ground situation regarding the civic services, interacted with the locals and took stock of all the deficiencies that were witnessed during the visit.
Accordingly, Verma gave directions to take immediate actions and resolve the issues faced by the people due the shortcomings that were noticed.
Taking to social media platform X, Verma also shared some pictures of the areas where the work was already going on, showing the improvements that were brought.
Verma also paid a visit to the old Lord Hanuman temple in Basant Gaon, and sought blessings from revered deity, and prayed for the prosperity and convenience of the locals.
Notably, ministers and public representatives across the city have been conducting checks and inspections, across different assembly constituencies and wards, especially at those places that had been earlier neglected in terms of development.
