The Delhi high court today directed a perfume manufacturer to supply room freshener to a blind school to get an FIR quashed against him for allegedly molesting his former woman employee.
Justice Hima Kohli quashed the FIR against the businessman, a Gurgaon resident, for allegedly molesting his former woman employee after illegally entering her house and directed him to supply room freshener and other products to a school as per its requirement for a period of one year. The said order was passed after the businessman tendered an apology in writing before the court and said the parties have settled the dispute out of court.
In the said case, the victim claimed to have worked in the Gurgaon firm of the accused since December 2012 and she left the office in March, 2013 due to his alleged inappropriate conduct towards her. Also, the court also imposed on him Rs 2 lakh as fine and directed him to deposit the amount in favour of the Delhi High Court Lawyers Library and Delhi Police Welfare Society.
