The Nagas Meet, 2016, the biggest event of the Naga people living in the national capital, to be graced by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh as chief guest, is set to kick off on Saturday.
The 53rd edition of the conclave, organised by the Naga Students Union, Delhi is themed “Today's Vision, Tomorrow's Reality”.
Popular in the city, the band, Red Light Passengers will open the event with an enthralling performance at Thyagaraj Stadium here.
The band is a Delhi based pop rock band comprising of the Naga youths from different communities. They aim to spread positive message of hope, love and peace through music.
The band members are Thotmung Muivah : Vocals | Ukulele | Guitars, Ram Gonmei : Vocals | Bass, Poujen Pamei : Vocals | Lead Guitar, Vikepe Yhokha : Vocals | Drums.
PB Acharya, Governor of Nagaland and Chief Minister TR Zeliang will also grace the event which is expected to witnessed a large gathering of the Nagas and others in the city.
