A 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by two persons including a juvenile for over four days in Kalyanpuri area of east Delhi last month.
According to police, the accused are said to be known to the victim.
The victim studies in class VIII at a government school and lives in Kalyanpuri area along with her family. The main accused has been identified as Chandan, a travel agent.
In her complainant to the police, the victim alleged that on 21 June, when she was present at her house, she was called by her friend, Chandan, who took her to his minor friend’s house in Durgapuri area, where both held her hostage and raped her for more than four days.
Police said, according to the victim, the accused even tried to sell her to a pimp at GB Road, but was rescued and the accused got arrested.
The victim’s parents had complained to the police regarding the missing of their daughter on 21 June after which the investigators immediately accessed the call details of the cell phone she was carrying.
They traced the location of the cell phone in Durgapuri after which a raid was conducted at a house and the girl was rescued.
Police said that both the accused has been arrested and booked under the charges of kidnapping and rape. His minor friend was also detained and sent to observation home.
