Northern Railways GM inspects Moradabad-Shahjahanpur section

Northern Railway General Manager, Ashutosh Gangal, reviewed the passenger facilities in the Shahjahanpur-Moradabad rail section as he inspected the Moradabad Division along with Additional General Manager, Shaminder Singh, Principal chief heads of the department and Divisional Railway Manager, Moradabad, Ajay Nandan and senior officers on Monday.

According to an official statement, Ashutosh Gangal, was welcomed by Scouts and Guides at the railway station on his arrival at the Shahjahanpur Railway Station, where he inspected the power cabin, the ‘One Station One Product’ stall displaying bamboo products, parking facilities in the station’s circulating area, the waiting room for women passengers and reviewed other passenger facilities at the station.

Gangal, also opened the renovated Ram Prasad Bismil Hindi Library, at Platform Number 1 of the Shahjahanpur Railway Station and inspected the newly constructed Sub-Sectioning & Paralleling Post (SSP) and the new Gang Hut in the yard of the Station.

He also met the waiting journalists at the Shahjahanpur Railway Station and apprised them of the rail operations and the various development works in the division.

The Northern Railway General Manager, also inspected the railway bridge over the Baigul River in the Miranpur Katra-Bilpur Rail section and the traction distribution at the Rasuiya Railway Station.

At the Bareilly Cantonment, Gangal closely inspected the Railway Protection Force Police Post, the railway quarters near the railway post and inquired about the well-being of families of railway employees.

Gangal opened the Bareilly Cantonment Warehouse, developed on the Public Private Partnership model and inspected the facilities available there for workers and traders. Among the things he inspected, include solar panel lights, rooms made for traders and workers, the employees’ canteen as well as the main Goods Supervisor Office.

Then he inspected the waiting room and the ‘One Station One Product’ stall at the Bareilly Railway Station apart from the  ‘prepaid electric meters’ which would be installed at vendor stalls. Further, he inspected the station’s escalators as well as the device installed for passenger convenience, which instantly relays messages to related companies in case of failure or stoppage of escalators and lifts.

Along with this, Gangal inspected the platform and the Reservation Office, Booking Office and circulating area of the Bareilly station. He also met media and public representatives at the station and apprised them of the ongoing development works in the division.

Thereafter, he inspected the Level Crossing Gate Number 371 in the Bhitaura yard, and the Level Crossing Gate Number 381 between Nagariya Sadat-Milak.
At Rampur Railway Station, he inspected the new foot overbridge and the exhibition, put up by the Signal & Telecommunication Department and Traction Distribution & Engineering Departments.

He lauded their awareness efforts of the Northern Railways through a street play organized at the Rampur Station.

Addressing the media at the Manan Auditorium, Gangal gave a presentation of the various on going development works in the division.
