Delhi BJP president flayed city government for inaction in controlling chikungunya and dengue cases even as his party workers distributed ayurvedic medicines to check the rise of the vector-borne diseases at New Delhi Railway Station.

Scores of BJP set up Ayurvedic Medicine Distribution Centres stalls and workers distributed medicines having curable effect on the diseases for free.

The BJP president, Satish Upadhyay, said that also assailed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for "fogging photo sessions" with one of his ministers the last for three to four days. In order to avoid negative media coverage Kejriwal government started the regrettable move, claimed Upadhyay.

Delhi Government is neither taking care of the patients in the government hospitals nor taking preventive steps to protect the people from dengue and chikungunya, he alleged.

Upadhyay further claimed that the BJP-controlled municipal corporations have taken concrete steps for sanitation and fogging across the national capital.

He also boasted off his party’s blood donation camp near the Subhash Nagar Metro Station as part of an "alternative preventive measure" drive.
