On the first anniversary of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi, the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday held an agitation here against the “total failure” of the government.
Led by Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay, the BJP workers gathered outside the NDMC convention centre where an event to mark the AAP government’s first year in office was being organised.
Holding placards that read “Har Roz Naya Bawal, Ek saal Kejriwal” (Every day a new controversy, one year of Kejriwal” along with BJP flags, the party workers raised slogans against the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
“This rally is to expose the Kejriwal government&’s total failure in one year. This is a black day,” Delhi BJP leader Praveen Shankar Kapoor said.
Kejriwal presented a report card of his government as part of a public interaction at the event and also took questions from people on phone.
