New Delhi, 3 September:Fulfilling his duty, a CISF personnel returned a bag containing more than Rs 95,700 to the woman it belonged, at Rohini metro station. Today at 10.43 a m, sub inspector Vashisht Narain, deployed at Rohini Paschim metro station noticed one black hand bag on the output roller of X-ray baggage inspection system (X-BIS).
 When the bag was again screened, image of jewellery and currency notes were seen on the monitor of X-BIS. The matter was immediately reported to station controller of DMRC and in his presence the bag was checked. They  found Rs 95,700 in cash and artificial jewellery.
 In the meantime, CCTV footage was also viewed which showed that a woman forgot to collect her handbag.
"At about 11.10 a m, Ms Prabha Kumari came and informed CISF staff that she forgot to collect her bag from X-ray machine after screening," said Mr Hemendra Singh, spokesperson CISF.
 He added that she owned a shop in City Mall, Rohini and she was in the business of artificial jewellery.
"She was carrying cash to make payment. After proper verification, the bag containing Rs 95,700 and artificial jewellery was returned to her. She appreciated the alertness and honesty displayed by CISF men for getting her hand bag with all its contents intact," added Mr Singh.                        sns
