A 25-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his house in Bhajanpura area of north-east Delhi this afternoon.
According to police, Faisal lived alone at his house in Vijay Park area. His family lives in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
"Faisal worked as a part-time tailor and used to live alone on the ground floor as other floors of the house were rented out to several tenants," said the police.
Police said that this afternoon, they received a PCR call that a man was lying unconscious at his house. Immediately, a team was sent to the spot who rushed Faisal to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) hospital, where he was declared brought dead. His body has been sent for postmortem.
Police said that they have noticed blood in his nose, mouth and eyes, however, there was no injury marks on his body. Police have also recovered some empty bottles of liquor and medicines from the room. No suicide note was recovered.
"The sleuths are suspecting the medicines could be intoxicant and samples have been sent for examination. They suspect that the deceased might had invited his friends last night at the house," said the police.
