Delhi Metro’s Blue Line develops technical snag, services hit

Delhi Metro commuters had to face harrowing time during evening peak hour on Wednesday after a technical glitch left hundreds of passengers stranded at metro stations along the blue line.

The problem occurred in the Dwarka area of the Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21-Noida City Centre/ Vaishali) due to which train services on the entire corridor were affected for more than an hour during peak evening rush hour.

Passengers took to social media to went their frustrations.

According to harried passengers, the Blue line metro was suspending its service at Janakpuri West. The Blue Line of the Delhi Metro system in consists of 44 metro stations from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre (Sector 32) with a length of 50.56 km and a branch line consisting of 8 stations from Vaishali to Yamuna Bank, with a length of 6.25 km.
