Highlighting the state’s economic achievements, Gupta said Tamil Nadu continues to be among the country’s leading centres for electronics, defence manufacturing, maritime trade, information technology, nuclear energy and scientific research.

She noted that educational, economic and cultural ties between Delhi and Tamil Nadu have grown steadily, with students from the southern state making significant contributions at universities and national institutions in the capital.

Emphasising the importance of cultural exchanges, she said, “Grand celebrations of Tamil festivals and cultural events are organised in Delhi. Festivals such as Pongal and performances of Bharatanatyam strengthen the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and reinforce the bonds of national unity.”

The Chief Minister also extended her best wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu, saying that India’s greatest strength lies in its unity in diversity, a spirit that will continue to propel the nation towards greater progress and prosperity.
