Delhi-Haryana synergy will boost north India’s development: Rekha Gupta

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, on Saturday, visited her ancestral village Nandgarh in Julana, located in Haryana’s Jind district, on the occasion of her 51st birthday.
Taking to social media, Gupta expressed that the values and core principles of hard work and service instilled in her from Haryana continue to guide her in serving the people of the national capital.
She emphasized that through collaborative efforts and coordination between Delhi and Haryana, the joint goal is to accelerate comprehensive development in northern India.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also accompanied Gupta during her visit to the village.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta noted that although she had previously visited Julana, it was after 48 years that she had returned to her native village, Nandgarh.
During the visit, several key announcements were made, including development projects worth ₹16 crore for Nandgarh and the Julana Assembly constituency.
Highlighting the importance of inter-state cooperation, the Delhi CM reiterated that collaboration between Delhi and Haryana would catalyze overall growth and progress in the region.
She expressed deep gratitude toward her roots, stating that the values imbibed in her from Haryana inspire her unwavering commitment to public service in Delhi.
Gupta assured the people that she would serve not only her “Karmabhoomi” (place of work), Delhi, but also her “Janmabhoomi” (place of birth), Haryana, with equal dedication and sincerity.
She also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for entrusting her with the responsibility of leading Delhi, calling it not only a personal milestone but also a source of inspiration for every woman and girl in her village.
Gupta praised the BJP’s inclusive policies and Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership, noting that individuals from humble backgrounds are now holding top positions in states like Delhi and Haryana while placing public service above all else.
Speaking on the occasion, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that respecting daughters is a cherished tradition in the state, and that Haryana takes immense pride in the achievements of its daughters.
He described Gupta as an inspiring figure who rose from modest beginnings to become the Chief Minister of Delhi through hard work and dedication.
Saini added that Gupta’s journey is a testament to the fact that no goal is out of reach with perseverance and commitment.
Praising Gupta’s leadership, he said that in just five months, her tenure has been marked by clarity of vision, a deep sense of public service, and strong decision-making.
Later in the evening, CM Gupta celebrated her birthday with Divyang children at the Mukhyamantri Janseva Sadan in the national capital.
