Delhi Government to lay water pipelines in 13 unauthorised colonies

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the work of laying of water pipeline in 13-unauthorised colonies in Deoli on Sunday. The project is expected to benefit 2 lakh residents of the area upon its completion. The total cost of the project incurred is Rs 14.40 crore which will be completed in 12 Months.

Through this project, the Delhi Government announced that it has targeted to make potable water supply accessible to each household in the capital. Once the project is completed, filtered drinking water to these colonies will be supplied through the 7.1 MG capacity UGR near ESI Hospital, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I.

Once completed, this internal water supply scheme will benefit  2 lakh people residing in A-Block, B-Block, B-1 Block, B-Block Y area, A-Block, L-Block, L-1: A-Block, C Block: Part-I, L-1st Block, C-Block, L-Block, F-3 Block, C-Block: Part-II of Sangam Vihar  Colony.
