A woman and her three minor daughters were found murdered inside their home in the Chandan Park area of Outer North Delhi on Tuesday evening, sending shockwaves through the neighbourhood.
Police said they received a PCR call around 8 pm reporting multiple bodies inside a room near Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Samaypur Badli. A team from PS SP Badli rushed to the spot and discovered the bodies of a woman identified as Anita and her three young daughters. All four had their throats slit with a sharp-edged weapon.
Crime branch and forensic science laboratory (FSL) teams were immediately called to the scene to collect evidence. Preliminary investigation revealed that Anita’s husband, Munchan Kewat, has been missing since early morning and is the prime suspect in the case.

According to police officials, the bodies were first noticed by neighbours, who alerted authorities after finding the house locked and receiving no response from inside.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North District) Hareshwar V. Swami said, “We received information about four dead bodies from the Chandan Park area. The deceased woman and her three daughters were murdered by slitting their throats. The husband is absconding and remains the main suspect. Multiple teams have been formed to trace him.”
A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police are examining possible motives behind the crime and questioning family members and neighbours.
Search operations are underway to locate the accused, while further investigation continues.
