Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, accompanied by her cabinet colleagues, on Tuesday called on Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu at the Lok Nivas. She said the meeting was a positive step towards strengthening shared commitment to the national capital’s inclusive development and public service.
Taking to social media platform X, Rekha Gupta shared details of the meeting and said continuous dialogue and coordination in governance and administration is the foundation of good governance and a state’s progress.
On the occasion, a positive and meaningful discussion was held regarding important public welfare schemes, initiatives, while also on the vision towards developing Delhi as a modern, and world class capital city, Gupta stated.
The CM said that the government and the administration are working with dedication and commitment towards Delhi’s holistic development and the bright future of every citizen of the national capital.
Sandhu had taken oath as the 23rd LG of Delhi on March 12. People expect that his experience as a veteran diplomat will help Delhi shape up into a world class city
