Vegetable vendor held for sexual assault on 14-year-old in Delhi
The case was pursued by the police after the complainants approached the Anand Parbat Police Station in this matter.
A Canadian national (20) was allegedly raped by a man whom she met at a pub in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas area on Tuesday night, the police said.
The accused, identified as Abhishek (25), has been arrested. He reportedly works as a manager at the pub.
Abhishek befriended the woman at the pub in Hauz Khas Village, where she had gone with her friends on Tuesday night. According to the police, the woman went to Abhishek’s place, a guest house in east Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar, on his invitation where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

She informed the police after reaching AIIMS and later gave a written complaint, an official said.
A case has been registered, he added.
The woman is on a visit to India with her two female friends. She arrived in New Delhi on Monday.
