With the approval of BJP national president Nitin Nabin and following consultations with the party’s senior leadership, Delhi president Harsh Malhotra on Monday announced a new team of state office bearers for 2026 on Monday.
After announcing the new team, Malhotra said that the Delhi BJP team-2026 prioritizes organizational experience while maintaining a balanced representation of different regions, social groups, and a healthy mix of experienced and new party workers.
He expressed confidence that the newly-constituted team would further strengthen the BJP organization in Delhi, and act as an effective medium to ensure that the benefits of the welfare schemes of both the Central and the state governments reach every section of society.
During his one month and twenty days tenure, Malhotra completed the formation of the state office-bearers’ team and the teams for all 14 district units working in a time-bound manner.
Of the 38 office-bearers announced today, 19 previously served on the outgoing state team, while several others have also held responsibilities in earlier state units. Additionally, three presidents of BJP’s frontal organizations (Morchas) from the previous team have now been inducted into the main state organization.
The newly-announced team includes three General Secretaries, Vishnu Mittal, Yogita Singh, and Mohanlal Giraha.
Satish Garg has been reappointed as the state treasurer.
The ten Vice-Presidents include Rajesh Bhatia, Sunil Yadav, Richa Pandey Mishra, Kaushal Mishra, Sarika Jain, Vinod Bacheti, Vikram Bidhuri, Ranjeet Kashyap, Sona Kumari, and Vijay Solanki.
A total of nine state secretaries have also been appointed, while other key appointments include Media Head, Praveen Shankar Kapoor, Chief Spokesperson Dr. Anil Gupta, Media Relations Head Shubhendu Shekhar Awasthi, Social Media Headi Rohit Upadhyay and other positions like IT Head, Office Secretary, and Joint Office Secretary.
