Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Monday announced that Vidhan Sabha premises will be hosting a special exhibition “Know Your Prime Minister” to mark the 75th birthday celebrations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Commencing on September 17, the exhibit will remain open to the public till October 2, showcasing the PM’s journey, he added. The event will also witness the inauguration of a book gallery within the Assembly Library, dedicated to the PM’s thoughts, words, and works.

Gupta noted that the Delhi Vidhan Sabha Library features texts highlighting the PM’s journey from early life to the present, including biographies, a compilation of speeches from Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Mann ki Baat. Additionally, the Assembly library also has a section carrying the work carried out by Modi during his tenure.

The Speaker further informed that in line with the Prime Minister’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, a Tree Plantation Drive will be held in the Delhi Legislative Assembly premises, symbolising growth, sustainability, and responsibility towards future generations.

Gupta hailed the PM’s work and said, “This is not merely a celebration of the life of an individual but a tribute to a leader whose vision, resolve, and relentless service have become inseparable from the story of New India.”

On Monday, he inspected the exhibition hall and the gallery in the library along with senior officers of the Delhi Assembly, including officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), and reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming function. He has also extended invitations to all MLAs, urging them to inform and encourage people in their respective constituencies to visit the event and gain deeper insights into the life and contributions of the Prime Minister, the official statement noted.
