Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha on Monday inaugurated the Delhi Police Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Bharat Mandapam.

The pavilion, designed as a citizen-centric awareness hub, features four thematic stalls dedicated to key policing and public-safety initiatives, including new criminal laws, Anti-Narcotics Task Force operations, cybercrime awareness, and welfare activities of the Police Family Welfare Society (PFWS), an official said.

“Senior officers present at the inauguration included Spl CPs Rajesh Khurana (P&FD), Neeraj Thakur (Traffic), Ms Garima Bhatnagar (EOW), and Atul Katiyar (Welfare). Top ITPO officials—Dr Neeraj Kharwal, IAS, and Premjit Lal, ITS—also joined the ceremony along with several additional commissioners and district officers,” said Devesh Chandra Srivastva.

A key highlight of the pavilion is a display of advanced cyber forensic instruments, offering visitors a rare glimpse into tools used for mobile data extraction, digital storage duplication, and high-performance imaging of devices such as NVMe and SATA drives, the officer added.

To deepen public engagement, Delhi Police has lined up a series of interactive activities over the coming days, which includes live CEIR demonstrations for tracing lost phones, a “Spot the Scam” cyber safety challenge, children’s sessions featuring the “Delhi Police Uncle” mascot, self-defence modules for women, a CPR training zone, and an “Ask the Cop” booth for on-the-spot guidance on traffic rules, women’s safety, and cybercrime reporting. Digital services such as FIR registration, verification processes, and challan payment will also be showcased through a dedicated kiosk.

Commending the initiative, Commissioner Golchha emphasised the importance of public awareness on emerging criminal threats, including cyber fraud and narcotics abuse. He urged sustained outreach across the city to strengthen police-citizen cooperation.
