Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha to make the capital clean, safe, and progressive. On Wednesday, the CM visited Ganesh Mandir at Connaught Place.

According to an official statement, she prayed that Lord Ganesha’s blessings continue to be upon the people of Delhi and that collective efforts are made to make the capital clean, safe, and progressive.

She also participated in the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi and attended events at North Avenue and Teen Murti. Emphasising the significance of the festival, she said that Ganesh Chaturthi is not merely a religious festival but a symbol of new energy, fresh beginnings, and positivity. Such occasions convey a message of social unity and encourage everyone to move forward collectively on the path of development, noted the press statement.

She added that merely invoking Lord Ganesha’s name dispels obstacles and opens new paths. The festival also reminds us that patience, knowledge, and hard work can overcome every difficulty. In times when the nation and society face multiple challenges, Ganesh Chaturthi conveys that, through unity and mutual cooperation, every obstacle can be turned into an opportunity.
