During a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday at the Jan Seva Sadan here, the multi-tasking staff (MTS) of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) expressed their gratitude to the government for the decision to increase their salaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Rekha Gupta said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi government is working with the mantra of good governance by considering the ‘respect for the Karmayogi’ as its core principle of good governance. “For us, every employee is not just a part of the system, but a foundational pillar in the realisation of a developed Delhi.”
She said respecting and empowering these karma yogis, dedicated to the service of Delhi, is one of the top priorities of the government.
MCD Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, Chairperson of the Standing Committee Satya Sharma, Leader of the House of the MCD Pravesh Vahi, and several others were also present on the occasion.
