AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday wondered that his party got 67 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly “by God’s grace” because after three years 20 of his party MLAs were going to be disqualified.

Addressing a gathering at Najafgarh while inaugurating the new sewer line in Roshan Garden and Dharmpura Colony, Kejriwal termed EC’s decision “unconstitutional, unethical and biased.” He said AAP would approach the High Court, and if required,  will go to the Supreme Court to get justice.

Kejriwal said that the disqualification of 20 AAP legislators was “yet another attempt” by the Centre to pull down his government.

Kejriwal said by making false allegation against its legislators attempts from all corners were made to target his party but every time “we have come clean.”

“They arrested our MLAs in false cases. They made CBI conduct raid at my office and home. The L-G even examined 400 files of past two years in a hope that at least he could find a single case against Delhi government, but to no avail,” Kejriwal asserted.

“Today,” Kejriwal said, “after they failed on every front, they have disqualified 20 party MLAs.” Kejriwal said in the “honest path” that the AAP had chosen these obstacles would keep coming but in the end “truth shall prevail”.

“There is a divine power that is bestowing its grace on AAP. You know why God gave us 67 seats out of 70 in the Delhi Assembly polls because God knew that after three years 20 of our legislators will be disqualified,” he added.
