Theme-based polling stations woo voters in Maharashtra
The Nagpur district administration hopes that the voters will get a new experience with this unique concept, which will also help increase the voter turnout.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had a miraculous escape on Thursday after his chopper got entangled in overhead wires and crash landed in Latur district of the state.
The state government's Sikorsky helicopter VT-CMM took off from Nilanga town, near Latur around noon with Fadnavis along with three officials and two crew members.
Shortly after take-off, the pilot noticed variable wind patterns and decided to return. As the helicopter turned around, it got entangled in some overhead electrical wires near the helipad and crash-landed there.
