In the forthcoming Assembly Elections in Haryana, 1,83,90,525 voters will exercise their voting rights in the state.

The state will go voting on 21 October in all 90 Assembly seats for which a total of 19578 polling stations have been set up.

Sharing more information in this regard, joint chief electoral officer Haryana, Inder Jeet said that according to the voter list published on October 4, 2019, there are a total of 1,83,90,525 voters in the State, including 1,07,955 service voters.

He said that there are 98 lakh 78 thousand 42 male voters, 85 lakh 12 thousand 231 female voters and 252 transgender voters in the state.

Jeet said that 19578 polling stations have been set up in 10324 locations in the State, of which 19425 are regular polling stations and 153 are auxiliary polling stations. While 5741 polling stations have been set up in urban areas and 13837 polling stations are set up in rural areas.
