The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday accused Congress party of copying its parivartan rath yatra campaign by announcing to launch path yatra and said the yatra would not bring any desired results in the upcoming assembly elections.

The Himachal Pradesh BJP vice president Ganesh Dutt said Congress party would get enough time conduct such yatrasin the state as the people of the state had made up their mind to throw the corrupt government out of power.

“Congress party claiming that the yatra is being conducted to spread awareness on the achievements of the government in the past four and half year’s rule but only achievement of the party is providing shelter to mafias and corruption,” Dutt said.

He said the party is welcome to carry out campaigns in the state as it would only solve BJP’s which had already launched campaign to expose the government’s lies on all fronts. “The path yatra would only further expose the failures of the government as the government had failed in fulfilling promises made during the assembly elections,” he said.

The state BJP vice president said the anarchy spread by the Congress party has hit its lowest. “What can be worse than a violent assault on the party’s councilor by the party’s workers of which the perpetrators deliberately recorded a video to post it online and spread it on social media,” he said.

“No path yatra can save the party in the coming elections as BJP would win the elections by huge margin,” he added.
