Himachal minister approaches speaker invoking anti-defection law against 3 MLAs
The three MLAs' petition is pending in the high court against the Speaker for not approving their resignation from the State Legislative Assembly.
In the wake of the rainy season, the Kullu district administration has imposed a ban on river rafting and paragliding and other adventure activities across the district till 15 September.
Tourism Development Officer BC Negi, issuing the orders on Tuesday, said that a complete ban has been imposed in Kullu district keeping in mind the monsoon season during which the Beas River swells up which renders river rafting and other adventure activities unsafe.
Paragliding activities also are dangerous during the rainy season, he said, adding that hence all such activities are banned for two months from 15 July.

He instructed the river rafting and paragliding operators to ensure strict compliance of these orders.
Strict action will be taken against those violating the orders, said Negi.
