Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who continues to fight against the outbreak of coronavirus and gave necessary intervention to those infected persons in the state, was admitted to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital after severe pain in his stomach.
Later he was diagnosed with a kidney stone measuring 3.76 mm.
The attending doctors advised him for taking rest for some days.

Meanwhile, the state increases its tally of Covid-19 patients up to 4158 till Monday afternoon. It has 2187 active corona cases after the discharge of 1960 persons from various hospital, healthcare centers and reported eight deaths due to corona complications. Meanwhile, Mizoram recorded over one hundred Codid-19 cases as more people of the state tested positive for the virus infection.
State chief minister Pu Zoramthanga informed that they have 117 positive cases, where one infected person was discharged from Zoram medical college hospital.
He added that all the positive cases have travel histories. Earlier, Nagaland increased its corona infected tally over 150. State health minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that they have 92 active cases after 76 infected persons were released . He also added that all active cases are asymptomatic.
