The national president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Amit Shah would address a youth rally in Kangra on 22 September and would corner the Congress government on unemployment issue.

The state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti said Shah would address youth in Kangra in which the government would be cornered for not fulfilling its poll promise of unemployment allowance. “Congress was voted to power on the promise of providing unemployment allowance to over 5 lakh youths of the state. But after coming into power, the government backtracked on its promise,” he said.

Satti said the Congress government has limited itself to announcements and it lacked the policy or will to carry out development in the state. “The government is laying the foundation stone of various institutions at such places where there isn’t any basic infrastructure available for the same or requisite staff,” he said.

On the other hand, CM Virbhadra Singh is inaugurating projects which aren’t even completed as yet, he said.

Satti said lakhs of youth from booth level would participate in the rally and they would throw the inefficient Congress out of power in the coming assembly polls.
