Amarinder to hand over appointment letters to youth on 11 March

The Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh will hand over job appointment letters to youth on 11 March during a state level mega event at Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) in Ludhiana.

Technical Education and Industrial Training minister, Charanjit Singh Channi disclosed this during a review meeting regarding the arrangements for the state level function for handing over job appointment letters.

He also said that Cabinet ministers, legislators, employers and chancellors of the private universities would also be present during the event.

Channi said that during the second state level mega job fair campaign the event was organised at more than 30 different places in the government and private technical education institutes across the state.

He said that this time higher education and medical education department also organised job fairs besides technical education department.

The minister said that the data is being collected from all the concerned institutes and employers regarding the jobs provided in the industry.

He also said that details are also being compiled from the various government departments about the number of jobs provided during this financial year. He said that CM would hand over job appointment letters to selective number students during the state level event.

The minister said that all the officers of the technical education department have been assigned duties for the mega state level function and all have been asked to report at PAU Ludhiana by Saturday and make this event a big success.
