In a tragic accident, at least 32 people are feared dead after a bus they were travelling in lost control and plunged into a river in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district, police said.
According to initial reports, the accident took place in Dubi as the driver of the bus full of passengers was over speeding on a bridge when he suddenly lost control and fell into the river.
A total of 35 people are injured in the accident while the bodies of 32 passengers have been fished out, authorities said.
Rescue operation is underway to find more survivors and the injured have been rushed to a local hospital, authorities said.
