Uttarakhand tunnel collapse: CM Dhami reviews rescue operations
Rescue operations continued for the third day to evacuate 40 workers still trapped inside an under-construction tunnel that collapsed on Sunday.
One of the three domes of the historic Jama Masjid here collapsed on Diwali evening, killing a 10-year-old boy and seriously injuring two, the head priest of the mosque said today.
The boys, who were playing in a lane near the mosque, were buried in the debris when the dome collapsed around 4 pm yesterday.
A huge crowd gathered at the spot, delaying rescue operations, said head priest Zainul Abideen.
